Bright lights and fast colour when I close my eyes I see a vision of promise when I look to the sky Unbrushed hair trapped within the shell you wear To hide the mess that you so desperately want to be And your eyes they hold the ocean I swear that I could swim in them for days A smile she claims needs a gap to be filled But I can see through the space and it shines your heart through And to the stars above They beg for your attention More than forbidden love More than just friends And if there’s really a God Though I can’t promise there is I hope he shines that light and lets you in And this might be love But I don’t really know what that is So for now Let’s just keep the silence on And turn the lights out And I will sleep If you let me And you can watch over my body as I dream You can go Or you can stay But I’m gonna keep your heart in mine either way I can’t always think Before I open up my mind But if the stars want your attention they’re gonna have to shine And if there really God Somewhere deep within the clouds I hope he can guide that light so you can find your way out

When we sleep at night I cherish every hour I lie awake to pull you closer And as time goes by We’re both just wasting our lives for something greater Soon you’ll be gone And I’ll be left to count the hairs trapped in my bed sheets Are we killing time or just ourselves? We can lay on my bed Until our bones decay But we both know that we wont die together either way Just holding on to time As time flies by Just waiting for our expiration You tell ancient stories of inspiration And Im jealous of your faith But God didn’t choose me I just wasn’t born to believe You say there's no room for me in your future I don't fit in your big picture And you could leave, but that’s just a burden to carry My love might not be as great as gods But i can promise that its real Trust me, this isnt a feeling that i was prepared to feel Soon I’ll just lay in my bed Until my bones decay Alone, is how I’ll spend every day Just killing the time as time kills me Just waiting for my expiration

In my final days I will just fade away With a funeral To show what I've portrayed And I'll see who I love A life I was proud of With a funeral To show what I've become Lately, I've been thinking about my own morality And how I've had to live through tragedy. But I am going to take this tapestry And make it into my own masterpiece Because all I want to be is at peace With the decisions I made, and every wrong I displayed Every song that I sang, and all the love that I gave. So don't you dare cry at my grave. My life wont be in vain... In my final days I will just fade away With a funeral To show what I've portrayed And I'll see who I love A life I was proud of With a funeral To show what I've become Don't put me in that bed Because I'm not dead yet I am not dead yet

They slave away At a job they hate To provide a better life For their family I will never be able to payback the debt that I’ve attained A lifetime of love and support, this is more than just my name Forever grateful, for everything you’ve done for me. The door to my success, you are the key. You are the key You are the direction I lead myself You are my direction I’ve found refuge here, knowing that you've always persevered And I can truly say I’m welcome here, I'm welcome here, I’m welcomed here They slave away At a job they hate To provide a better life For their family You are the direction I lead myself
